This course offers a better understanding of the value of a rigid coverboard in low-slope commercial and governmental roof assemblies, including schools. Key topics will cover how rigid cover boards perform in adverse conditions, an overview of regulatory bodies and required testing, and a dive into gypsum as a coverboard material.

Michael Gray, has an extensive background spanning over a decade in building-product sales, commercial real estate and management. He spent 4 years working for a higher education consulting company focused on detailing and benchmarking the physical assets of colleges and universities to aid in their development and master plan decisions. Most recent to joining Georgia Pacific, he managed a sales and operations team within the electrochromic glass market, responsible for the completion of large projects spanning the West Coast and into Canada and Africa. Michael's experience and interest in sustainable, efficient envelope solutions brought him to Georgia Pacific, where he currently holds the role of Building Envelope Manager for the Northwest Region.
